Born2trade prediction markets went live this week on the Match-Trader platform, adding event-based contracts to the broker’s forex and CFD offering. The broker said clients can use the new module under the same login and account balance as its existing products. The system runs on technology from Match-Trade Technologies.
Born2trade had flagged the plan in May after it bought the domain Predictory.com. At that time, the broker said it aimed to launch prediction markets in the first half of 2026. However, that deadline passed before this week’s release. The latest press release did not mention Predictory.com or explain whether the domain links to the new service.
Born2trade Prediction Markets Use Vendor Technology
The new product comes from Born2trade’s platform provider rather than from an internal build. Match-Trade Technologies released its own prediction markets system in April. It offered the product to Match-Trader brokers as either an add-on inside the current platform or as a separate white-label service.
According to Match-Trade, the system sorts events by category and updates outcome odds in real time as positions build. It also settles contracts once an event ends. Winning trades close at a value of one, while losing trades close at zero.
Serhii Poplavski, head of the Match-Trader platform, said prediction markets are becoming a standard broker feature. He added that firms that bring users on first will hold the edge. Match-Trade put Poplavski in charge of the platform in June, with responsibility for prop trading and prediction markets adoption.
Broker Targets New User Groups
Born2trade said the module aims at users beyond its usual client base. Those groups include crypto-native traders, politically engaged traders, and sports and entertainment fans. Additionally, the broker said it will begin with a small set of high-interest events under set settlement rules, then widen the offer based on demand. It did not give a count of events or a launch timetable.
Meanwhile, Match-Trade said around the time of its April launch that its platform served more than 160 connected brokers and prop firms and 1.8 million registered trader accounts. That gives the vendor a ready network for the module. The source article also said Leverate and Devexperts have launched broker-facing prediction markets products since February.
