Plus500 sports event contracts launched in the United States on Monday, expanding the firm’s prediction markets offering for retail customers.
The company said the new products are CFTC-regulated contracts linked to sports results. It offers them through its own futures trading platform and in partnership with Kalshi. As a result, U.S. retail users can trade exchange-listed contracts tied to outcomes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and other leagues.
Chief Executive Officer David Zruia said the rollout marks a milestone for the group. He said the launch came from the firm’s technology and the infrastructure it has built. He also said Plus500 is now fully part of what he called one of the most active areas in financial markets.

Plus500 said the new offering uses its position in both institutional clearing and direct-to-consumer retail. The firm added that it applies the same execution, clearing, and risk management setup used in its wider multi-asset trading business.
Meanwhile, the launch adds to Plus500’s broader move into next-generation prediction markets. The company said the step also widens its addressable market in the United States. It added that prediction markets have seen strong regulatory traction and rising consumer interest in recent years.
