CMC Intelligence launched at CMC Invest on Tuesday, as CMC Markets rolled out a native AI engine with Telescope AI for its Australian unit.
The new tool aims to help investors track market moves and review portfolios. CMC said it offers insights on stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies across Australia, the United States, Singapore, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
The launch followed a client survey result from the London-listed broker. It found that 23% of its stock brokerage clients use AI for investing, up from 12% six months earlier.
CMC Intelligence Targets Faster Investor Decisions
Ryan O’Doherty, Head of Product for CMC Invest APAC, said the product tackles a common issue for investors in fast-moving or volatile markets. He said investors often need to monitor fragmented and conflicting information from many sources.
He added that AI tools can shift the focus to synthesis. As a result, clients can turn market research and trade analysis into insights that are easier to understand and quicker to act on.
CMC said its AI-generated insights draw on verified market data, corporate filings, regulatory disclosures, and public news sources. Meanwhile, Luc Pettett, CEO of Telescope AI, said CMC viewed AI as infrastructure that changes how investors engage with capital markets.
CMC Adds Pricing to Apex Bridge
In a separate update the same day, CMC’s wholesale arm said brokers can now access its pricing through iSAM Securities’ Apex liquidity bridge. Therefore, brokers using Apex can tap CMC pricing alongside the bridge’s existing liquidity provider network.
Dennis Weissert, Chief Commercial Officer at iSAM Securities Apex, said brokers want technology that helps them move faster. He added that the integration gives Apex users an institutional liquidity option while keeping it linked to Apex risk and pricing tools.
iSAM said Apex uses the infrastructure behind its own market-making operation, including network design, physical servers, and CPU pinning, to deliver what it described as ultra-low latency pricing. CMC’s wholesale arm, rebranded as CMC Markets Connect in 2021, distributes multi-asset liquidity to banks, brokerages, and funds, and the firm reports more than 2 million traders and investors worldwide.
