Dukascopy Bank has introduced a new Stock Trading Platform that provides access to more than 25,000 stock and ETF CFDs. This launch marks an expansion of the Swiss bank’s equity CFD offerings.
Expansion of Instruments on MetaTrader 5
Alongside the new platform, Dukascopy has increased the number of instruments available on MetaTrader 5 from over 100 to more than 400. The additions include metals, FX crosses, and crypto CFDs such as gold and silver. These instruments are accessible on both live and demo accounts. MetaTrader 5 continues to be offered alongside MetaTrader 4 and JForex within Dukascopy’s multi-platform environment.
Features of the Dukascopy Stock Trading Platform
The new Stock Trading Platform operates as a separate trading environment designed to extend Dukascopy’s existing multi-asset ecosystem. It is accessible through JForex4 Desktop, aiming to provide a consistent client experience while offering a dedicated interface for stock trading.
Dukascopy highlighted differences between the new platform and JForex. While JForex offers over 1,500 stocks and ETFs across 18 markets, the Stock Trading Platform expands this to more than 25,000 instruments covering 20 markets, with plans to increase coverage to 87 markets.
Trading conditions also differ. JForex supports both long and short positions, whereas the new Stock Trading Platform allows only long positions and operates with 1:1 leverage. Additionally, risk management features such as automation and exposure limits are supported on JForex but not on the new platform. Exposure limits apply on JForex, but the Stock Trading Platform removes these limits.
Funding for the new platform is structured through a JForex sub-account, although standard JForex funding methods remain available at that level.
This launch follows recent product expansions on JForex, including new ETFs and cross-asset instruments, reflecting Dukascopy’s broader effort to enhance market access for its clients.
