Plus500 single stock futures launched in the United States on Monday, expanding customer access to CME Group-listed contracts. The new line lets clients trade a wider set of leading U.S. stocks through futures contracts. It also includes Micro Single Stock Futures.
The company said the new products offer an option to traditional equity trading. According to Plus500, the contracts need lower initial margin and include built-in leverage. Traders can also take long and short positions. In addition, they can trade the contracts beyond normal exchange hours.
Plus500 Single Stock Futures Expand US Range
Plus500 said the launch will widen its futures offering in the U.S. market. The company also said it plans to add more Single Stock Futures over time. It will base those additions on customer demand, liquidity conditions, and broader market dynamics.
According to the company, the rollout forms part of a broader plan to offer new financial products. It said the aim is to give customers more choice and more control in how they reach global markets.
CEO Cites Broader Futures Push
Chief Executive Officer David Zruia said the move, made with CME Group, marks another step in building Plus500’s futures business. He added that the launch builds on momentum in the firm’s non-OTC business. That segment also includes its prediction markets product, which Plus500 launched earlier this year.
Zruia said the company expects to broaden the offer further as it scales its U.S. presence. Meanwhile, the launch highlights Plus500’s effort to diversify beyond its traditional CFD business. The company said it is pushing further into regulated, exchange-listed products in the United States.
