BDSwiss offshore operations appear to have stopped after the broker’s global website went offline and began sending users to a login dashboard page. New users also could not open accounts, as the site showed a “cannot create account” message. Meanwhile, the login page carried BDS Markets branding instead of BDSwiss. The broker has used the BDS Markets brand for some time.
Archived pages indicate the change was recent. The BDSwiss homepage was still working at least until 15 May 2026. However, the Seychelles Financial Services Registry still lists BDSwiss as active, which means the broker still holds its offshore licence.
BDSwiss Offshore Operations Status Unclear
BDSwiss also received a Category 5 licence from the UAE’s Capital Markets Authority in 2024. That licence allowed the broker to promote its products and services in the country and onboard traders to its offshore unit. However, the status of that licence is unclear because the CMA register shows no licensing details and no registered director or employee details.
Finance Magnates said it tried to contact BDSwiss about the business status. However, the press email bounced back.
Cyprus Exit and Client Complaints
BDSwiss built its name from Cyprus and obtained a Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission licence in mid-2013. That licence was suspended in late 2024 and then withdrawn a few months later. As a result, the broker’s presence on the island ended.
Finance Magnates also reported in 2024 that staff were leaving BDSwiss’s Cyprus office in large numbers. However, the broker had already stopped offering services to retail traders under its Cyprus licence before the suspension. It also changed its corporate and brand name to Viverno after a €100,000 fine in 2023 over issues tied to initial margin and risk warnings.
Meanwhile, some self-described BDSwiss clients posted recent complaints on Trustpilot. Several claimed BDSwiss moved their balances to TheCopperClub without their consent. The report said TheCopperClub appears to offer copper trading without any regulatory licence. BDSwiss’s Trustpilot page also showed many negative withdrawal reviews and a TrustScore of 2.1, marked as Poor.
