Swissquote H1 results showed record client assets of CHF 96.3 billion in the first half, even as weaker crypto markets cut a key income line.
The Swiss online banking group said the total came for the six months to June 30, 2026. During that period, it added 64,011 new accounts. As a result, total accounts reached 1,220,818, up 5.5% from the end of last year.
Net new money came in at CHF 5.1 billion, just below the firm’s record level. Meanwhile, client assets rose almost 20% from the same period a year earlier. Swissquote also said most revenue lines grew in the half.
Swissquote H1 Results Show Revenue Mix Shift
Net fee and commission income increased 13% in the period. In addition, net trading income rose nearly 16%. However, net crypto asset income fell 66.2% to CHF 14.6 million.
The company linked that drop to lower values for bitcoin and other digital assets. It said geopolitical tension, higher interest rates, and a stronger dollar weighed on the crypto market. Even so, overall net revenues edged up 1.7% from a year earlier to CHF 364.2 million.
Pre-tax profit was little changed at CHF 182.9 million. Therefore, Swissquote kept a profit margin above 50%. The company also reported growth at its mobile app Yuh.
Yuh Growth and Updated Outlook
Yuh increased its user base by 6.1% to more than 423,000 accounts. Swissquote said the app remains on track to break even for the full year. Additionally, the company partnered with Swiss football club BSC Young Boys to raise Yuh’s visibility.
Looking ahead, Swissquote trimmed its full-year forecast. It now expects net revenues of about CHF 730 million and pre-tax profit of about CHF 365 million. The company cited a slower recovery in crypto markets, although it left its 2028 profit target of CHF 500 million unchanged.
