Crypto.com tokenised stocks began trading in Europe on 12 August 2026, giving eligible users round-the-clock access to more than 1,500 US stocks and ETFs.
Users in the European Economic Area and other approved jurisdictions can trade the products from as little as $1, according to the exchange. Trading also runs outside normal market hours. The lineup includes instruments linked to shares such as Nvidia, Tesla and Apple. It also includes ETFs tied to commodities such as gold and silver.
Crypto.com Tokenised Stocks Structure
The products come from Foris Capital CY Limited, Crypto.com’s Cyprus entity. Meanwhile, Alpaca holds the underlying shares in custody. The source article said Alpaca is a US-regulated self-clearing broker-dealer.
Crypto.com said the products track the price of the underlying assets. However, they do not give users ownership of the shares or shareholder rights. Users may still receive dividend-equivalent adjustments.
Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto.com, said: “Money never sleeps. Market access shouldn’t either.”
Fees and Market Position
Crypto.com is offering eligible users zero-commission trading on Tokenised Stocks for a limited introductory period. However, foreign exchange charges or spreads may still apply under the product terms. The company did not say when the offer will end.
According to Crypto.com, Alpaca supports more than 90% of the tokenised US stock and ETF market. However, the article said that figure is self-reported and has not been independently verified.
The launch places Crypto.com alongside Kraken and Bybit, which already offer similar tokenised equity products based on Backed Assets’ xStocks. In contrast, the article said xStocks on Kraken can be moved to self-custody wallets for supported assets, unlike Crypto.com’s derivative structure.
